summer 2012 wrap-up

Harrison's 2012 Summer Wrap-Up

AUGUST 11, 2012: Matt and I attended (worked) our friends mom's wedding in August. It was a themed affair. A pirate themed wedding! Both Matt and I thought maybe twenty percent of guests would dress up, but we were mistaken. Since we assumed so few would dress up we worn summer wedding attire, and hince...looked like fools. On the bright side not all of the Distads looked out of place. While Harrison was being babysat by Aunt Julianne, he was having loads of fun. Not only did he hangout with his cousins he left with a new hand made outfit.

AUGUST 31, 2012:  MJ & AK celebrated our four year anniversary cleaning our house, attempted to take photos of Harry (see images below), and a lovely dinner at Nostrana in SE Portland. Uncle Randy came over and babysat (by babysat he sat in the living room ate pizza and watched Netflix while Harry slept. Love restaurants with 930pm reservations :) ). Nostrana was soooo tasty! Want to go back soon and eat this:
Sweet corn & green chili sformato ricotta, cherry tomatoes, arugula. One of the best things I have ever eaten.

SEPT 6-10, 2012: For our anniversary we rented a Beach House in Lincoln City, Oregon to relax. We were planning on heading to Hawaii to celebrate, but with HD we thought it'd be a waste of a trip. We'll go in a few years and have a blast! We enjoyed our stay at the beach very much. The Schulbergs even stayed the night one night. Secretly wish that house was ours (well...not really a secret anymore) and not whoever it belonged too.

watched the DNC national convention while on vacation. Harrison love Barack!

SEPT 10, 2012: Our drive home to Hillsboro.

SEPT 22, 2012: While painting the house I decided it was time for a photo break. (oh yeah! forgot to mention we're repainting our house. It sucks.)

SEPT 23, 2012: While mowing the backyard Matt found not one, not two, but three Four Leaf clovers!
